In this quarter’s Newsletter, we would like to let you know about our Service & Maintenance Team, who continue to expand their expertise, and introduce you to some of the members of our Project Team.
Service & Maintenance Team
Our Service and Maintenance Team of 15 technicians continue to expand their knowledge, experience and deliver increasingly efficient services.
All Sirius Air technicians are using automated tablet based systems which incorporate detailed asset lists and fully standards-compliant tick sheets to ensure our client’s HVAC systems are comprehensively maintained in accordance with Australian best practice. We can quickly provide our customers with all the documentation they might need to evidence the completion of our service and maintenance in an easily accessible on-line or paper based format.
Repairs & Quoted Works
To help meet the needs of our client, our Service and Maintenance team has always been able to undertake repair and upgrade work. This is made easier by the support available from our dedicated Project Team, which includes Project Management and Engineering skills. Our technicians have been working on a diverse range of projects including office fit-out and upgrades, the installation of new supplementary units for meetings rooms, the modifications to existing Air Conditioning layouts, BMS Upgrades, and Electrical Modifications. Our existing knowledge of customers’ sites has helped ensure that all of these jobs have been delivered on time and on budget by our experienced Technicians.
Retirement Villages & Aged Care Facilities
Sirius Air services a number of residential facilities, including those providing aged care services. We have recently won a large new contract for the support of a portfolio of retirement villages and aged care facilities through-out South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. For these services, we use a hand-picked group of technicians who are very aware of the different issues raised when delivering services in these environments . We are proud to say our Technicians understand the importance of Customer Service and Respect.
Project Team
We are delighted to introduce you to some of the members of our Project Team.
Matt Richardson – Project Manager
Matt has been with Sirius Air for 9 years, starting as an apprentice Refrigeration Technician and progressing through to Project Manager. Matt has successfully managed a range of HVAC related jobs including Council Library upgrades, Hospital AHU replacements, and the removal and replacement of chillers. His detailed technical knowledge as well as strong relationships with a range of high quality sub-contractors and excellent inter personal skills make Matt an outstanding project manager who has proven himself in delivering projects on time and on budget.
Neil Heidon – Engineering Manager
Neil is Sirius Air’s resident engineer. He brings over 30-years’ experience in the HVAC industry gained through a variety of roles in Australia, England and South Africa. Neil’s skills include advising clients on meeting and maintaining energy audit targets (GreenStar and NABERS), and designing HVAC solutions for new office fit outs, modifications and upgrades. Neil and Matt work closely together with the Client to find cost effective solutions that create a climate controlled, energy efficient environment, with a cost effective solution.
